Information about Certificates

We produce our acupressure mats in collaboration with our partner, Kishor Exports, which manufactures them in India for ShaktiMat. You can find more information about our production process here.

Kishor holds Fairtrade, GOTS Version 7.0, and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certifications for the product, material, and process areas specified in each certificate. In the production of the ShaktiMat, Kishor uses exclusively Fairtrade (Certificate FLO ID 48046) certified cotton as well as raw fabrics and dyed fabrics produced in accordance with GOTS (Scope Certificate Number SC-024785-0). The textile materials used by Kishor in the production of the ShaktiMat are also tested and certified according to OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 (Certificate No. 24.HIN.71627, testing institute: Hohenstein Laboratories GmbH & Co. KG, 74357 Bönnigheim, Germany), Product Class I.

We use hang tags and/or adhesive labels supplied by Byways India Private Limited for the packaging of our products. This company holds FSC certification (Certificate No. NC-COC-007852) for these packaging components.

Fairtrade/FLOCERT Certification Criteria: Certification is based on the Fairtrade Standards, specifically the Fairtrade Trader Standard and the Fairtrade Standard for Fibre Crops/Cotton. The auditable criteria are published in the FLOCERT Public Compliance Criteria.
