Application

There are countless ways to use your Shakti Spike Ball. Simply roll it gently over the desired areas of the body. Beginners start with light pressure, advanced users can increase the intensity. Ideal for palms, soles of feet, neck, jaw and other tense areas. The enclosed cork mat or a carpet can be used as a base. Use the supplied natural cork stand for storage.

Contraindications: Consult a doctor before use if you have coagulation disorders, epilepsy, skin diseases, acute illnesses, cardiovascular problems or thrombophlebitis.

Cleaning and storage

Wipe the ball with a slightly damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Avoid strong chemicals. Wipe the cork mat and stand with a slightly damp cloth and dry both thoroughly before exposing them to the sun. Avoid water, soap and salt water.

Why is the material of the Shakti Spiky Ball brass?

There are good reasons why we chose brass: Brass is a hard metal (generally 66% copper and 34% zinc) and is therefore ideal for the longevity of the tips without wearing them out. It is also resistant to corrosion. This keeps the tips sharp for a long time. Brass is ideal for the application of natural surface finishes that do not wear off in use and do not require aggressive chemical processing or metal plating (e.g. nickel plating).
But that's not all: according to Ayurveda, brass is a natural precious metal and has known health benefits, such as reducing inflammation and stress. It is also considered to be very clean and has cleansing properties.
So it's the ideal ingredient for this spiky little tool that makes a big difference.

Will the cork mat or the cork stand be damaged by the spikes?

No, cork is very malleable and "self-healing" by nature. Even if you notice a few small marks over time, cork will remain damage-free for years due to its ability to bounce back after an impact. Imagine a pin board! Or a Birkenstock insole.

How long should I use the ball at a time?

There is no must or should and no maximum usage time. You can use it like a Shakti mat for 20 minutes or as long as you feel comfortable with it. You can use it more than once a day on different parts of your body whenever you feel your body needs some relief and relaxation. As we always say, it's best to listen to your body and what feels good for you.
