Based on the findings of Traditional Chinese Medicine, this acupressure mat was developed by a Swedish massage therapist. Some of our customers have told us in their reviews that it has helped them to noticeably relieve their back and limb pain or problems falling asleep.

The 77 x 40 x 2 cm mat is equipped with round nail circles at regular intervals, each with 27 ABS plastic tips. These stimulate blood circulation to the resting parts of the body. Acupressure has unmistakable parallels with acupuncture. It provides for the release of the happiness hormone endorphin. This increases the feeling of well-being and can relieve pain. The muscles thus relaxed can promote deep sleep.

Already after about 20 minutes on the acupressure mat, a reduction of stress and tension-related pain can begin and pleasant warmth spreads through the body.

In addition to relieving tension in the back or neck, the massage mat can also be used for other parts of the body: In the prone position, it can improve digestion and possibly relieve tension in the upper abdomen and respiratory muscles. As a back cushion on an office chair, it can relieve cramps in the lumbar vertebrae and soothe tension-related sciatica. If the nail mat is rolled with the tips facing outward, tension in the neck, temple and forehead areas can be treated.
